“And whoever wants to be first must be slave of all. For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.” Mark 10: 44-45.
Worldly pleasures are the opposite of what Jesus wants for us.
If we truly want to be followers of Jesus, we need to give up all worldly pleasures and serve others with love and humility.
Jesus gave up everything and came to serve and save us.
As his flock we ought to do the same and replace ego, pride, hatred, envy, lust, lies with truth, kindness, humility, love and obedience to God.
