1 – Create in me a clean heart, O God. Renew a loyal spirit within me. Do not banish me from your presence, and don’t take your Holy Spirit from me. Psalms 51:10 – 11

Ask God to give you a clean heart and bless your spirit, so that you will be loyal to God. Listen to the Holy Spirit who God gives to those who love him.

2 – Teach those who are rich in this world not to be proud and not to trust in their money, which is so unreliable. Their trust should be in God, who richly gives us all we need for our enjoyment. 1 Timothy 6:17

Remember to trust only in God. Do not be enslaved to money. Do not be proud. Pride will destroy you.

3 – Pride leads to disgrace, but with humility comes wisdom. Proverbs 11:2

Be humble during the week. Remember humility is the beginning of wisdom.

4 – You can ask for anything in my name, and I will do it, so that the Son can bring glory to the Father. John 14:13

Remember, Jesus promised to do anything you ask of him, if it brings glory to God the Father.

5 – Whoever loves a pure heart and gracious speech will have the king as a friend. Proverbs 22:11

Put on a pure heart, one free from all bitterness, envy, guile, hypocrisy, malice, pride, or selfishness. Use gentle, kind, forgiving and pleasant words when you speak. You will make many friends.

6 – He said, “I came naked from my mother’s womb, and I will be naked when I leave. The Lord gave me what I had, and the Lord has taken it away. Praise the name of the Lord!” Job 1:21

Remember whatever you have has been given to you by the Lord. You own nothing. Thank God for everything you have and praise him even when he takes it away.

7 – You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother’s womb. Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship is marvelous – how well I know it. You watched me as I was being formed in utter seclusion, as I was woven together in the dark of the womb. You saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in your book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed. Psalms 139:13 – 16

Remember God loves you. You are wonderfully made. You are His creation. All your days are recorded in his book.

9 – For you have been given not only the privilege of trusting in Christ but also the privilege of suffering for him. We are in this struggle together. You have seen my struggle in the past, and you know that I am still in the midst of it. Philippians 1:29 – 30

If you have to suffer this week for the Lord Jesus, be of good cheer. It is a privilege to suffer for Jesus.

10 – When you obey my commandments, you remain in my love, just as I obey my Father’s commandments and remain in his love. John 15:10

Follow Jesus, obey him and you will remain in his unfailing love.

11 – The Lord gives righteousness and justice to all who are treated unfairly. Psalms 103:6

If someone treats you unfairly during the week, pray for that person. The Lord will give you justice.

12 – Lord, if you kept a record of our sins, who, O Lord, could ever survive? But you offer forgiveness, that we might learn to fear you. Psalms 130:3 – 4

Remember to fear the Lord. Walk in His ways. Repent and ask for forgiveness if you sin.

13 – There will be no mercy for those who have not shown mercy to others. But if you have been merciful, God will be merciful when he judges you. James 2:13

Be merciful and show mercy to others during the week. God will also then show you mercy.

14 – “I tell you the truth, those who listen to my message and believe in God who sent me have eternal life. They will never be condemned for their sins, but they have already passed from death into life. John 5:24

Remember, you have eternal life! Your sins are forgiven. Jesus paid the price for your sins.

15 – For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline. 2 Timothy 1:7

Remember, you have the Holy Spirit in you. Do not be afraid. God is with you all week.

16 – If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by confessing with your mouth that you are saved. Romans 10:9 – 10

17 – Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light.” Matthew 11:28 – 30

If you are struggling, depressed, sick, going through a hard time this week, Jesus promises to give you rest. Lay your burdens at his feet. Yoke yourself with Jesus and your soul will find rest.

18 – And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice – the kind he will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship him. Romans 12:1

Remember to stay away from all sexual immorality. Your body belongs to God.

19 – God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God. Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it. Ephesians 2:8 – 9

Remember you are saved by Grace. Be humble.

20 – Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Philippians 4:6

No matter what happens during the week, trust in Jesus.

21 – Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect. Romans 12:2

Do not get carried away by the behaviours of this world, but renew your mind in Christ.

22 – For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. Jeremiah 29:11

Remember no matter what happens during the week, God has amazing plans for you.

23 – Even when I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid, for you are close beside me. Your rod and your staff protect and comfort me. Psalms 23:4

Remember, God is with you during your darkest times. He will protect and comfort you.

24 – Don’t forget to show hospitality to strangers, for some who have done this have entertained angels without realizing it! Hebrews 13:2

And finally, show hospitality to every person you meet this week. You might just meet an angel this week!
